Bouken Koi captures the dramatic moment when our heroic koi launches itself into the air after facing countless trials and tribulation on the Yellow River. Henshin Dragon portrays the end of the heroic koi’s journey, having successfully transformed into a mighty and regal dragon.

The Raden Collection

In this exclusive series of four models, OAN.GIO joins hands with Japanese lacquer artist Keisuke Sano, whose mastery of Raden and Maki-e transforms light itself into texture.

Hand-crafted in Urushi lacquer and abalone Raden, these dials are not mere surfaces but meditative landscapes - each one reflecting the delicate dialogue between traditional Japanese artistry and OAN.GIO's contemporary horological vision.

Sơn Mài: The Vietnamese Lacquer Collection

Vietnamese lacquer painting – called "sơn mài” – is a young craft. It only started in the 1930's under the influence of the “L’ Ecole des Beaux Art” in Hanoi, founded by French artists, influenced by Western modern art. However the Lacquer technique is ancient, and goes back 8000 years in China and Persia. The sort of coloured and polished lacquer used today is based on a milky sap from lacquer trees, was found in China about 3500 years ago.

Rose Engine Guilloche Collection

Engine turning (or Guilloché) is a method of machine engraving precise, repeat straight line or geometrical patterns and designs onto a base metal – a process that has been used in metalwork since the late 18th century.
