The Raden Collection

In this exclusive series of four models, OAN.GIO joins hands with Japanese lacquer artist Keisuke Sano, whose mastery of Raden and Maki-e transforms light itself into texture. Each dial becomes a microcosm of Sano’s Enigma world — an abstract constellation of iridescent fragments and golden particles that shimmer between precision and mystery.

Hand-crafted in Urushi lacquer and abalone Raden, these dials are not mere surfaces but meditative landscapes — each one reflecting the delicate dialogue between traditional Japanese artistry and OAN.GIO’s contemporary horological vision. Every piece is unique, irreplaceable, and alive, carrying within it the quiet beauty of human hands and time itself.

Hiroi Umi — The Deep Sea

A tribute to the boundless mysteries of the ocean, Hiroi Umi captures the quiet pulse of light beneath the waves.

Each iridescent fragment of Raden—mother-of-pearl inlay—has been meticulously hand-placed by Japanese lacquer artist Keisuke Sano, forming a living mosaic that shimmers like the deep sea in motion.

From its dark foundation emerge infinite hues of blue and green, evoking depth, stillness, and the unseen life that breathes in silence below.

A dial where craft becomes emotion, and every reflection tells a story of water, time, and light.

Raden Hatsuniji - First rainbow

Raden Hatsuniji celebrates the fleeting beauty of nature’s renewal — the first rainbow that graces the sky after winter’s stillness.

Through hundreds of meticulously inlaid fragments of mother-of-pearl, Keisuke Sano captures a perfect spectrum of iridescent light, radiating from the heart of the dial like dawn breaking through mist.

Each hue shifts gently with movement, echoing the Japanese sensibility of utsuroi — the poetry of impermanence.

A dial that embodies hope, light, and new beginnings, crafted with the timeless grace of Japanese lacquer artistry.

Astral Reflection

Astral Reflection evokes the silent vastness of the night sky, where fragments of stardust and cosmic light seem to drift across a boundless void.

Through the delicate interplay of Raden and golden Maki-e, Keisuke Sano captures the eternal dialogue between light and darkness.

Every tiny inlay of shell and gold is placed by hand, forming a constellation that reminds us that beauty, like the universe itself, is born from infinite patience and quiet wonder.

A dial where the cosmos meets craftsmanship, and time becomes a reflection of the stars.

Enigma

Drawing directly from Keisuke Sano’s celebrated Enigma series, this dial transforms the artist’s signature geometric rhythm into horological form.

Each intersecting plane of gold and iridescent Raden creates a dialogue between order and mystery — a labyrinth where light shifts with every movement of the wrist.

The composition reveals Sano’s fascination with contrast: structure and fluidity, reflection and silence, precision and emotion.

The Craft Master : Keisuke Sano

Keisuke Sano (born 1994, Gunma Prefecture) is a Japanese Urushi (lacquer) artist known for his series Enigma, a collection of 5.3 cm cubes whose surfaces are densely ornamented using centuries-old lacquer techniques such as Raden (mother-of-pearl inlay), Hyōmon, Maki-e, and dry lacquer. Although he originally studied to become a mechanical engineer, Sano discovered a fascination with the shifting iridescence of traditional Raden and later pursued fine arts, earning a master’s in crafts from Tokyo University of the Arts. His work bridges deep respect for traditional Japanese craftsmanship with fresh, enigmatic forms — reinterpreting techniques that have existed for over a millennium in a contemporary, almost sculptural way

Each model in the Raden Collection features our new Prestige V2 Caliber.

Based on the renowned Swiss ETA Unitas 6498-2, our custom movement undergoes a complete overhaul by our precision partner in Glashütte, the birthplace of German watchmaking. The custom 3/4 bridge, mainplate and balance bridge are meticulously beveled and polished to highlight their unique shapes, drawing inspiration from vintage pocket watch movements and classical watchmaking. Adorned with Rose gold perlage and rodhium plating, it gleams with the same brilliance as the mirror-polished steel screws and ratchet-click system. All the handmade finishes make this watch not only beautiful front side, but also back side.

When Heritage Meets Artistry

A collaboration rooted in mutual respect for tradition and craftsmanship, the Adiantes x OAN.GIO partnership unites Japanese artisanship and Southeast Asian creativity. After exploring Japan’s timeless crafts and their masters, Nghia, founder of OAN.GIO, envisioned timepieces that embody wabi-sabi—the beauty of imperfection. To complete this story, he partnered with Tintin from Adiantes, blending artistry and sustainability in a shared pursuit of meaningful design.

The Birth of a Double Upcycle

Inspired by Japan’s heritage textiles, the collaboration revives discarded vintage kimono fabrics—each carrying personal and historical stories. Adiantes collects these remnants, the by-products of upcycling, and transforms them in Thailand into unique watch straps. Each piece is upcycled twice, turning forgotten silk fragments into wearable history. No two straps are ever alike—each one echoes its origin and past life.

A Celebration of Craft and Culture

In collaboration with Nghia, we both sought to design a strap that wouldn’t just complement the Japanese dials but elevate them. “We wanted to bring an equally artistic strap to match the intricacy and soul of the dials,” Tintin explains. “It’s about balance between material and meaning, between craft and sustainability.”
The result is a union of art forms: Oan.Gio’s mastery in horology meets Adiantes’ innovation in sustainable material development. Together, they’ve created something that is as thoughtful as it is beautiful, an expression of care, culture, and continuity.
No two straps are alike. Each pattern tells a story that can never be repeated. And in that uniqueness lies the beauty of the collaboration, an embodiment of Japanese artistry and Southeast Asian craftsmanship.
