Project Ginkgo Vintage

The Ginkgo model will always hold a very special place in my heart. It was the piece that truly put OAN.GIO on the map and caught the eyes of some GPHG jury members. It was also the very first model I designed while preparing to launch the brand.Somewhat ironically, I never kept one for myself—so I decided to create a unique, personal version. This Ginkgo dial is hand-engraved on a brushed silver dial, creating a strong and elegant contrast with the black chapter ring. The movement has also been hand-decorated with a Ginkgo leaf motif. The brass bridges are left unplated to preserve a warm, vintage character, and they will naturally develop a patina over time.I’d love to hear what you think about this very personal piece.

Project Peacock

This unique piece features a hand-crafted cloisonné enamel dial, inspired by the iridescent feathers of a peacock. Fine gold wires are meticulously shaped by hand to create an organic, flowing pattern, forming individual compartments that are patiently filled with layers of enamel and fired multiple times to achieve depth, brilliance, and permanence. The interplay of deep blue and turquoise tones evokes the natural shimmer of peacock plumage, while the visible gold outlines give structure and reveal the unmistakable signature of hand craftsmanship—no two dials can ever be replicated.Encased in a warm yellow gold-toned case and paired with minimalist hands, the dial remains the undisputed centerpiece. Our manual winding Prestige V1 movement is running under the hood. This watch is not simply a timekeeper, but a singular expression of traditional cloisonné artistry, created as a one-of-a-kind piece. This is my wife's favorite piece of 2025 😊

Project Ultra Vibrance

A commissioned piece created for a close friend and collector from Singapore — and one that truly embodies going all the way.The main dial features our Ultra Guilloché pattern, cut on a traditional rose engine by Master Shen. The color treatment is exceptionally rare: a dynamic plating that shifts from deep blue to violet depending on light and viewing angle. This complex finish was developed by my partner @rhodior_sa in Switzerland, known for producing the same color technology for some of today’s most respected independent watchmakers (Simon Brette for example). The sub-dial is crafted in Japan by Master @keisuke.sano Notably, this is the only OAN.GIO piece outside of the Raden Collection to feature this sub-dial — a true outlier for collectors. To complete the watch, the client opted for a fully hand-engraved chapter ring and our latest Prestige V2 manual-winding movement, developed by @dkprecisionmechanics in Glashütte.A no-compromise, one-of-one piece — created for someone who understands what makes a watch truly special.

Project Ultra Purple

This model showcases a finely executed rose-engine guilloché dial, hand-cut by Master Shen in Beijing, where each engraved wave radiates depth, rhythm, and light across the surface. The rich violet tone enhances the hypnotic geometry, revealing the precision and mastery of traditional engine turning. At six o’clock, the small seconds sub-dial introduces a contrasting texture crafted in Vietnamese lacquer sơn mài, inspired by our Celestial Sea model, with subtle specks evoking a starlit night over calm waters. Together, these elements create a refined dialogue between two ancestral crafts, united in a contemporary and poetic timepiece.

Project Brazil

This model is distinguished by a deep blue rose-engine guilloché dial, meticulously hand-cut to create a vibrant play of light that radiates from the center. Warm gold accents on the chapter ring, hands, and small seconds sub-dial bring balance and elegance, emphasizing the precision of the engraved pattern. Beyond the dial, the timepiece reveals its character through a custom-decorated movement, finished exclusively for this watch with carefully executed hand embellishments that echo the geometry and refinement of the front. Together, dial and movement form a cohesive expression of traditional craftsmanship and bespoke watchmaking, where every visible detail has been thoughtfully considered.

Project Carnevaa Guilloche Gold

When my client asked if we could bring our Ultra pattern guilloché to the movement bridge, I knew it would be a challenge — but one worth pursuing. Together with Master Shen, we spent months experimenting and testing, as this was his first time applying Rose Engine guilloché beyond a dial. The result exceeded expectations. The movement bridge is now transformed into a miniature work of art, showcasing the intricate pattern in a way rarely seen in watchmaking. We finish the customization with a hand engraving on the balance wheel, perlage on the mainplate and 18k gold plating on all bridges.

Project Carnevaa Red

This model features a vivid red rose-engine guilloché dial, hand-cut by the Renzetti workshop in Milan, Italy—a family-owned atelier with over a century of uninterrupted craftsmanship. The intricate, flowing pattern captures and reflects light with remarkable intensity, revealing the depth and precision of traditional engine turning. Warm gold hands contrast elegantly against the richly textured surface, while the recessed small seconds adds balance and refinement. The result is a timepiece that celebrates heritage and savoir-faire, where a century-old Italian craft is expressed through a bold and contemporary aesthetic.

Project Carnevaa Orange

This model features the same rose-engine guilloché dial crafted by the Renzetti workshop in Milan, Italy, a family-owned atelier whose expertise has been passed down for over a century. The warm copper-toned surface reveals a dense, rhythmic engraving that comes alive as light moves across the dial, showcasing the precision and sensitivity of traditional engine turning. Polished steel hands and a recessed small seconds counter provide a refined contrast, allowing the guilloché to remain the focal point. Encased in a darker finish, this variation offers a more contemporary expression of the same historic Italian craftsmanship.

Project Pietersite

Different projects featuring striking dials crafted from natural pietersite, a rare stone known for its dramatic depth and movement. Each dial reveals swirling flashes of deep blue, golden amber, and dark charcoal, creating a storm-like effect that shifts with the light. No two pietersite dials are ever the same, making every piece truly unique. Paired with a clean, restrained case design, the vivid stone takes center stage, offering a refined yet powerful expression of natural beauty captured in time.

Project Momoji

This piece was commissioned by a dear friend and collector who gave OANGIO’s artisan carte blanche to realize his vision of a watch imbued with the essence of a Japanese autumn. Thus was born the Momiji (紅葉), a unique masterpiece that pays tribute to the most magical of seasons.

The rich red orange dial is grand feu enamel with hand engraved sunbursts. OANGIO’s artisans given free reign to create something spectacular, decided to add gold paillonné to the dial as a nod to sunlight piercing through the canopy of autumn leaves. The subdial is an orange celestial sea style son mai created in OANGIO’s very own Sơn mài studio in Vietnam.

The Momiji movement is one of the most unique pieces OANGIO has ever done. Taking several months to complete, the movement is a stunning tableau of autumn. The intricate, lifelike relief engravings of the Japanese maples left no room for any mistakes or flaws. In the background, one can see mountains and villages, a tribute to traditional Japanese artwork.

OANGIO is extremely proud to be able to realize these very special memories and moments for our collectors.

Project Ultra Black

Introducing "Ultra Black". A piece i made for myself.

This piece features a dial entirely crafted on a traditional rose-engine lathe by Master Shen in Beijing.

The deeply layered guilloché pattern creates a hypnotic play of light, with every curve cut by hand and guided by the rhythm of the machine. Paired with warm rose-gold accents, the dial balances mechanical precision with quiet elegance, celebrating one of the most demanding and poetic métiers of classical watchmaking.

The movement is finished by Ivan (@va.no130), a highly skilled independent artisan based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. This black rhodium–plated movement is produced in an ultra-limited run of just two pieces, each decorated by hand.

Project Engraved Tiger

Commissioned by a well-known watch collector in Australia, this piece is a powerful expression of hand-engraved artistry.

The dial is sculpted entirely by hand in Vietnam, using a combination of solid gold, rose gold and steel. Executed in a true sculptural engraving style, every line is carefully carved to create depth, contrast and movement. From the intense gaze of the tiger to the fine textures of its fur, each detail emerges dramatically from the dark background under the engraver’s burin.

Powering the watch is our latest Prestige V2 manual-winding movement, designed and developed in Germany by my friend Don from @dkprecisionmechanics — bringing refined engineering to a dial that celebrates traditional craftsmanship.

Project Green Dragon

A commission like this always begins with a story.

For this piece, a collector approached us with a simple wish: to transform a blank dial into something alive — a scene that would carry movement, strength, and spirit every time the watch is worn.

The result is a hand-engraved dragon, sculpted directly into solid metal using traditional burin techniques. Every scale, cloud and flowing whisker is carved by hand, one line at a time. No stamping, no CNC textures — only the slow rhythm of engraving tools guided by the engraver’s hand. The background is deliberately darkened and textured to create depth, allowing the dragon to rise in relief from the surface like a sculpture.

The vivid jade-green dial reveals the full energy of the creature as it coils across the dial, while the rose-gold case frames the artwork with warmth and elegance.

Project Baby Tiger

Every project begins with a story; this one is defined by a father’s profound love for his son. Featuring a dial hand-engraved in a classical sculpture style and crafted from solid gold, the resulting timepiece is one a father will cherish forever.

(Yes, the son was born the year of the tiger)

Project Dark Eclipse

Latest custom project for a client in Hong Kong. I call this model "Dark Eclipse"

A study in contrast and quiet intensity.
The dial is carved from deep black onyx—absorbing light, revealing nothing—while a fragment of meteorite at 6 o’clock reminds us that time itself is born beyond our world.

Gold accents float above the darkness, like distant stars caught in orbit.
Minimal, yet charged with presence.

Project Samurai

A deeply personal commission, born from the client’s admiration for Japanese culture and history.

The dial is entirely hand-engraved in solid silver, each line carved by hand to create a living surface of texture and depth. At its center, the samurai mask emerges in titanium—a deliberate choice. Beyond its technical qualities, the samurai embodies discipline, honor, and quiet strength. It reflects the wearer’s connection to these values, making the piece not just aesthetic, but meaningful.

Subtle gold accents bring warmth and balance, guiding the eye without overpowering the engraving.

Project Green Momoji

Crafted to celebrate a significant milestone, this bespoke commission pairs technical mastery with imperial history. The Grand Feu enamel dial—featuring hand-engraved sunburst detailing and gold paillons—is the work of Grandmaster Xiong Songtao, whose family has mastered this craft for the Chinese Emperors across multiple generations. In the spirit of East and Southeast Asian tradition, the dial's deep green hue serves as a powerful symbol of vitality, health, and lasting success.

Project Rose Gold Tremblage

Tremblage is a slow, deliberate act.
A blade touches metal, again and again, leaving behind thousands of tiny irregularities—each one irreversible, each one alive.

No pattern is programmed. No repetition is perfect. Only the rhythm of the artisan guides the surface.

Finished in 18k rose gold, the dial reveals depth that cannot be replicated by machine.

Inside, one of the last Prestige V2 movements.

Project Dark Mother of Pearl

Out of the 20 tantalum cases we have produced, this is the very first project to be unveiled. Commissioned by our dear friend at @atelierkai.co , this bespoke piece embraces a distinctly natural character, pairing a deep black mother-of-pearl dial with a meteorite subdial—two materials shaped by both earth and time.

Project Green Resonance

This project was recently completed for a loyal American collector. Named Green Resonance, it features a unique Rose Engine guilloché dial crafted by our partner, Renzetti, in Milan, Italy. The chapter ring and minute track have been entirely hand-engraved, giving the watch a distinctive and dynamic character. Powering the piece is our custom hand-engraved movement, finished in yellow gold. Every bridge has been meticulously reshaped by hand, with all anglage executed and polished individually to showcase the highest level of traditional craftsmanship.
